Lisa visits the Evolved Art Gallery Bloodsuckers Exhibition to see Living Dead Girl Nicole’s Work on Display 🖼️🧛🏻‍♀️

I know I have mentioned numerous times how supportive my LinkedIn connections have been of my Artrepreneurship “lifestyle”since being laid off. Well, I actually have another special update to share with you guys that reminds me of how blessed I am that so many of you see my potential. I truly believe there is a special place in the after-life for those who support other people’s dreams and passions and am grateful to all of you that have found ways to support mine.

Lisa Braithwaite and I connected on LinkedIn due to our mutual appreciation of uniqueness and acceptance. To say we both overly use the hashtag #thisiswhatprofesssionallookslike on the platform would be an understatement. 🦄✨

Well, to my surprise Lisa is a California local and she made it a point last weekend to visit Evolved Art Gallery just to see my artwork on display at the Bloodsuckers: Art Of The Undead Exhibition in Ventura!

She took photos and posted them on LinkedIn to share how impressed she was with the exhibition and how excited she was to finally see my artwork in “real life”. When the tag notification came through in my feed I literally screamed with delight. I mean here is a person all the way across the country who I have never met in-person that went out of their way just to see my work on display. How could ones heart not feel full from that! 💗

Being all the way in the Midwest its killing me not to be able to experience all the incredible pieces of artwork from the artists all over the world that are featured in this show. However at the same time, I am so honored to be able to live vicariously through Lisa’s experience.

With that being said, the show will be laying itself to rest this weekend (Friday, October 30th and Saturday, October 31st are the last days to take it all in) and since it falls on my favorite day of the year, I have decided to reduce the price of the piece for one lucky art collector! And if you are like me and not local to California no worries. You can purchase the piece from the gallery’s website (as long as you make the purchase before the show closes) and have it shipped directly to you.

Lindsey Adds Some Bite to Her Decor with Ginger Snaps Portrait by Living Dead Girl Nicole 🖼️🌕🐺

My newest art collector and fellow Ginger Snaps fan, Lindsey was excited to discover my ‘Out By 16″ portrait of (one of my all time fave actresses) Katharine Isabelle as Ginger Fitzgerald in my Etsy shop.

She purchased an 8×10″ matte giclee print of the piece and when she received it she immediately framed it, gave me a 5 star Etsy review, and sent me this lovely photo of it already displayed in her home.

Art Of The Hellmouth Buffy & Angel Tribute Exhibition will feature ‘I Am The Magics’ Willow Rosenberg Piece by Living Dead Girl Nicole 🖼️🧛🏻‍♀️✨

The updates have been dropping like vamps in Sunnydale this week, and the momentum isn’t stopping just yet. I know your feed and your inbox are taking a hit, but I wouldn’t want you to be… “bored now” would I? So, “buckle up, Rupert”, because I’ve got some more news to share with my art collectors and the prophecy is now ready to be revealed.

I am officially one of the chosen ones… as in, an artist whose work has been accepted by Hellmouth Events and Giant-Size Productions for their upcoming Art of The Hellmouth Buffy & Angel Tribute Exhibition! My “I Am The Magics” Willow Rosenberg art piece was selected to slay it on display alongside other Buffyverse inspired artwork in a two-week pop-up gallery show that runs from October 17 to November 1, 2026 at Moby’s Coffee & Tea Co. located in North Hollywood, CA. 🪦

Now, if you are one of my art collectors who has been following my artventure journeys here, you are already fully aware that my dream is to gift Alyson Hannigan my original 8×10″ version of this piece and therefore its not available for sale. So I am contributing a rare, first-of-its-kind 16×20″ canvas print specifically for this show! Whoever purchases this limited edition art print will also receive a certificate of authenticity that states the following:

This certificate confirms that the artwork identified herein is a limited-edition, professionally produced canvas print created specifically for: The Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel Tribute Exhibition Show at Moby’s. The original piece was hand-drawn by the artist using pencil and chalk pastels on 8″x10″ paper. This document certifies that this piece is the first-ever 16″x20″ canvas print produced from the original artwork.

There will also be 5×7″ prints of my art piece included in Mystery Blind Bundle Packages that will be available to purchase at the show and to top things off 10% of ALL art sales will go to to Fandom Charities Org: a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to bring fans together in support of meaningful causes. They turn shared passion into real world impact through events, community experiences, and fundraising efforts that celebrate fandom while helping others.

Daily gallery access to see the exhibition is completely free at Moby’s, but the curators and production staff will also be hosting a ticketed Celebrity Kickoff & Drusilla After Dark Event on opening night, Saturday, October 17, featuring a public signing and evening screening with the one and only Juliet Landau! ⚰️

And that’s not all. They are also hosting a ton of other Buffyverse themed events during the duration of the show. Being stuck out in the Midwest and just reading about everything they have planned gives my jealousy quite the “Spike”. Oh, and did I mention, Moby’s is brewing up some Buffy themed drinks and cafe items as well! You know the tea drinker in me would be dying to sink her teeth into those! ☕️

So, if you are a slayer or a member of the Scooby Gang, be sure to patrol your way to Moby’s in North Hollywood, California from October 17th – November 1st, 2026 and claim your “stake” on my art! 🧛🏻‍♀️

Gallerium’s Girlish Art Exhibition features ‘I Am The Somebody. I’m The Fire’ Daisy Jones Piece by Living Dead Girl Nicole 🎀🖼️🌼

I am excited to share that I have more art exhibition news! Not only is my “Invite Me In” piece being featured in the Bloodsuckers: Art Of The Undead’ exhibition that opened at Evolved Art Gallery in Ventura, California this past weekend, but now another piece of my work is being featured in a virtual exhibition curated by Gallerium on the Biafarin platform.

The theme of the exhibition is Girlish 🎀: Stories of Femininity, Strength, and Becoming: A chance to express the essence, struggles, and triumphs of girls and women by celebrating their diverse stories through art. Exploring the depths of femininity, conveying self-discovery, empowerment, societal expectations, cultural influences, and personal narratives revealing the strength, beauty, challenges, and resilience of women.

I submitted a few of my portrait pieces on a whim to see if the curators may want to feature one or all of them and was thrilled that they accepted my ‘I Am The Somebody. I’m The Fire’ piece that I hand drew in pencil and chalk pastels in tribute to Riley Keough as Daisy Jones. 🌼 Not just because I love the piece, but because the character of Daisy and her journey truly fits the theme so perfectly.

When submitting the work they asked for description of what inspired the piece in which I wrote:

I Am The Somebody. I’m The Fire.” is a traditional pencil and soft chalk pastel portrait paying tribute to the feisty, determined character of Daisy Jones, played by Riley Keough, in the musical drama series Daisy Jones & The Six. Inspired by the 1970s rock scene and heavily rooted in Fleetwood Mac lore, the piece channels a nostalgic seventies aesthetic to capture Daisy’s turbulent journey toward self-belief and artistic independence. The title and composition pull references from various defining moments in Daisy’s journey, focusing closely on the iconic aesthetics of the fictional Aurora album photo shoot. Ultimately, this portrait honors a fiercely resilient woman overcoming an unsupportive past to follow her dreams, find her fire, choose happiness, and become her own “somebody,” a creative force who refused to be anyone’s muse but her own.

The exhibition is already being featured in Art Week and includes this really cool collage of all the incredible work that was accepted by the 86 artists for the show:

Please note that my piece shows up in this exhibition as Not For Sale because the original 8×10″ version is in my personal collection in hopes that maybe one day I cross paths with Riley and can gift it to her. After all, Daisy did teach us ladies to believe in ourselves and to follow our dreams.

And just because I am dreaming does not mean my art collectors can’t enjoy this piece for their very own collection. Made-to order giclee, metallic, canvas prints and t-shirts of the piece are available to order in my Etsy shop, and if you are a local to Illinois there is currently still an 8×10″ and 4×6″ canvas print of this piece on display and available to purchase from my Artist Of The Month Display at Soundgrowler! If you love rock music you will definitely love the atmosphere there!
