Closet Collectibles Art Drop and Restock Alert 👀 🛍️

Now that September has passed and my Soundgrowler Artist of The Month Display time is over, I made a trip this weekend to Closet Collectibles and restocked and rearranged my Cabinets of Curiosities for all of my in-store art collectors*!

So be sure to take a moment this spooky season to escape the aisles of cheaply made imported Halloween “decor” that anyone can buy and get your claws on some human made, unique collectible art you can’t get anywhere else. By doing so you are not only supporting me as an artist but you will also be supporting an incredible small business who believes in me.

Not in Illinois? My Etsy shop is always open and ready for my out of state collectors.

And.. don’t forget, I still have rare canvas prints (that come complete with Certificates of Authentication) on display and available to purchase at both the Evolved Art Gallery’s Bloodsuckers: Art Of The Undead Exhibition (running in person and online through October 31st) & The Chicago Fine Art Salon’s Chicago Icons Exhibition (running in person and online through November 6th). By purchasing these pieces during these exhibitions you are not only showing the galleries that my work is worthy of their wall space but you are also showing your support for galleries that are doing incredible things for our art community.

Closet Collectibles will Raffle off Living Dead Girl Nicole’s Art at An Epic Collectibles Extravaganza Show!

As one of my art collectors and artventure followers, you already know that my work is on display and available to purchase from my Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles in Crete, IL. Well in March, they hosted a very large toy and collectibles show. It was such a success that they are hosting their second one today!

To support them I have donated a prize that will be raffled off with lots of other cool items at the event. The bag I put together includes an 8×10″ canvas print of my ‘Y? Because I Gotta!’ split face art piece as well as some other fun surprise goodies!

So if you are a pop culture geek like me, be sure to visit the Crete Township Community Center today from 9am – 4pm, take in all the nostalgia and drop a raffle ticket in to win my artwork! While you are there be sure to stop by the Closet Collectibles table and tell them Living Dead Girl Nicole sent ya!

And… the Closet Collectibles store will be open during normal business hours, so after you go to the show be sure to visit the store and see all my other artwork I have on display there and their massive selection of toys and collectibles. If you have never been to the store before, you will either be mad at me because you spent all your money or super stoked you discovered such a magical fun place for treasure hunting. Most likely both, but either way you will be thanking me later! 🏴‍☠️

Night Terror Magazine Issue 25 Features Living Dead Girl Nicole’s Handmade Creations 📖🎁

Happy October 1st my Freaky Fanatics! I have some fun and exciting news to share with all of you! Night Terror Magazine just released Issue 25 of their killer publication today and this one is extra special. The Of The Land & Winter Wails Issue is not only a community issue but it’s also their first quarterly issue and it features a very ghoul Holiday Gift Guide spotlighting small businesses that were hand selected by their editors…. including mine!

How fun are these graphics they created for the social post announcements….

This literary mag is filled with incredible folklore and short stories from the very talented horror community and although you can scroll the pages digitally online, I highly recommend purchasing a print copy. Not just for that nostalgic feeling of reading something in your hand that isn’t on a screen, but also to see all the hard work that goes into every page this publication puts together. You can find my work and shop featured in the gift guide section on page 60 of the digital zine (screen shot below) and can also order a copy in their shop on their website.

Weird Professional Zine No. 3 Features Living Dead Girl Nicole’s Handmade Potster Monstrosities 👾📖

If you enjoyed Issue 1 and Issue 2 of the Weird Professional Zine, get excited because Issue 3 is officially out now!

Just like with Issue 2, we were encouraged once again to design our own page(s)​ when we submitted our content, so this time I decided to layout and showcase my unique artistic way of “planting the seeds of the strange” with my handmade Potster Monstrosities!

Here is a how my finished page looks published in the zine….

Be sure to give the online version of the whole zine a look through and discover all the weird and wonderful things everyone submitted. It will be available on Flipbook (for 1 year) and you can also purchase a print copy and it is also available as a part of a bundle if you didn’t get your hands on the first two issues.
