First off, thank you again to everyone who came out and purchased a piece of my artwork at the Unruly Art Market on Sunday. It was so great to see so many of my creations find new homes with amazing art collectors.
This update is to let my online shoppers know that I have finally “dug”π§ββοΈ through what’s left of my inventory from the show and have taken the time to list every piece that is still available for purchase in my Etsy Shop
So if last week you were reading all my new creation updates on here and were bummed that you couldn’t make it out, or if you didn’t have enough cash on hand at the show, now is your chance to get your claws on the “remains.”π§ββοΈ
Make sure to act fast before I make my Closet Collectibles art drop this weekend. Once that drop happens, these unique pieces will also become available to my art collectors who like to do in-store shopping* from my Cabinets of Curiosities at the shop. Which means you will have more claws to compete against if you want to add them to your collection. As always, each of my creations are handmade and never mass produced* which makes them one-of-a-kind. So in other words, once they are gone they are gone for good. So go get you some!
We have officially reached the final day of my daily creation countdown updates in anticipation of the Unruly Art Market. After this post, I will be spending my time retrieving some of my creations from my Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles, packing up my purple canopy and loading up my bins for the big show on Sunday.
This week, Iβve introduced you to some brand-new lineages of Monstrosities that I have conjured up, from my tiny Bite-Sized Monsterpieces to the stellar special edition 4×4″ Orion, and just yesterday, my brand new botanical beasties, the Potsters. But for my final sneak peek before the show, I wanted to shine a light on some familiar favorites. While these aren’t brand-new creation lines, these specific pieces are fresh, never-before-seen variations of concepts my art collectors already know and love!
The Pet Rockster πͺ¨πΉβ¨
The ultimate low-maintenance companion is back. This newly hatched (from a real rock I found in nature) Pet Rockster features a fresh combination of fiery colors and hand-sculpted details. Like my other Pet Rocksters, it sits proudly inside its very own little cage, surrounded by sparkly soft moss, colorful faux mushrooms, and aura red crystals to feed his whimsical cravings.
Mini Jarsters π«πΉβ¨
I have not one, but two brand-new Jarsters ready for the market as well. Like my other Mini Jarsters, these are also made from 3β³ clear glass mini mason jars that I hand sculpted into the perfect blend of functional art and creature decor. They are ready to open their heads (literally) to your secrets while protecting your tiny treasures, hand written manifestations/wishes, herbs, dice, spells, and trinkets.
3×3″ Mini Monsterpiece πΌοΈ πΉβ¨
This new canvas creature packs all the texture and bite of my other 3×3″ Mini Monsterpieces, but this one is a total trailblazer like my Alter Ego versions. Done in a vibrant green texture with orange shell fangs, curled in horns and a wild shock of red hair, he is the first of his kind to rock a goatee! Heβs a super cool, laid-back beast just vibing on his matching red easel, ready to bring some relaxed, monster energy to your favorite nook.
Whether you are looking to adopt a reimagined classic or one of this week’s brand-new βfeatured species, my booth at the Unruly Art Market will be packed to the brim with handmade, hand drawn never mass produced*, whimsical weird human art.
So make sure to accept this quest and journey out THIS Sunday, May 31st to Crow & Calico in Monee, IL and claim the art that speaks to you! Jβust look for the purple canopy βon the horizon (cause as you all tell me, my “branding is always on point” π ) and come say βhello and give a “Huzzah!” to βthe girl who loves monsters, whimsy and pop culture.
Please note that any of my creations that are not purchased at the show will later be added to my Etsy shop (for online shoppers) and placed inside my Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles (for my in-store shoppers)*
First off, I want to thank all my art collectors who have purchased one of the t-shirts and/or sticker packs I designed as a way to show support for human artists and our mission that AI can never replace our human touch.
With that being said, your enthusiasm for this mission inspired me to design more goodies for you guys. I am excited to announce that I have just added a limited number of keychains to the Stay Human section of my Etsy shop, and I will also be dropping off a few at Closet Collectibles for my in-store* shoppers.
So whether you are an artist, an art lover, or just someone who values what makes human creativity so special, these keychains are your chance to help us drive away the bots. Clip one onto your keys, bag, or backpack and show off your support for human creativity no matter where the road takes you.
Each keychain measures 2″x 2″ and is professionally printed on acrylic with a clear snap closure and stainless steel key ring. The back of each keychain has a sparkly glittery finish that I added myself to give it a “touch” of my own added flare. Each one comes individually wrapped in holographic sealed packaging. Great for gifting! Limited quantities, while supplies last.
In a world where technology is rapidly taking over opportunities, it is more important than ever that we remind each other what makes us human. So if you are ready to show your support for human artists, please shop my Anti AI Merch and help spread the message by sharing this post and encouraging others to be the key that helps open more doors for human creatives.
Well, the catβs out of the bag, and in a way, so am I.
As many of you know, about six years ago I went into a bit of a vendor hibernation. I started selling my artwork on consignment with Closet Collectibles, and it has been much easier to balance my time and energy by focusing on my in store display. That way, my collectors can browse and purchase my pre-made pieces at anytime.
In other words, I usually turn down vending events. But this one is different.
My incredibly talented and supportive friend, April Adams, is putting together a special event to give back to her network of artist friends by creating a space for them to be seen, supported, and celebrated. She is bringing together a community of amazing creatives and giving them more exposure and opportunity to share their creations. Since I am not currently working, the timing felt aligned, and honestly, it felt like a calling to show up, support her vision, and stand alongside her and other local artists.
So with that being said, I am officially dusting off my vendor booth gear for this event and it would mean the world to me if my art collectors would come out and be a part of it. It will be a fun opportunity to purchase art from real human artists (no AI here), jam out to live local music, stuff your face on delicious grub from local food trucks, sip a drink or two at the hosts’ tavern, meet some adorable goats on the farm, and even get your own creative energy flowing with a live paint and sip. And it gets better… its FREE to attend!
Everyone involved would truly appreciate helping us out by spreading the word about the event. You can easily do so by sharing this blog post with your email contacts, social media followers or by texting it to anyone that would love to support the arts and have an unruly good time doing so!
