My All Hallow’s Potster Collection is now officially available to see and buy in person in my Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles! So don’t delay making a visit to the shop and getting your claws on one at the in-store discounted price* for yourself or your favorite ghoul!
When I was at the shop this weekend I also did a little rearranging of my display. So when you are there you will also notice that my canvas print inventory is unusually low and there is a sign explaining why that is. For those that don’t make it into the shop this week will hear the exciting news when it is announced here in the upcoming days, so stay tuned to your inboxes!
Attention pin up ghouls! This weekend I made an art drop/restock trip to Closet Collectibles and it included the repackaging of eight of my premade Dead Girl Decay barrettes. This means they no longer come in clear sealable bags, and instead, they now come in freshly packaged, ready-to-gift clear boxes with branded logo seals.
So be sure to check out my restocked Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles* and get in the spirit of the upcoming spooky season, all while supporting a small business, and an artist who makes human, one-of-a-kind wearable art and more! 👩🏻🎨🛍✨️
Over the weekend we had some fun celebrating my great niece Violet’s 11th birthday. One of the MANY things I love about this little girl is her fascination with monsters, cryptids, mythological creatures, and animals. And not just typical animals either. She can lay down some facts about animals you didn’t even know existed and is a trip and half to go on zoo adventures with.
On top of all of that she loves drawing the things she loves as cartoon characters. Her talents and imagination fascinate me. She gives each character she draws names and each one has a backstory. That’s right, she’s quite the little artist herself and my husband and I have a little collection of handmade gifts and drawings she has made for us over the years and when she draws or makes something new she can’t wait to show us. Since she is getting older (she even mentioned the word pre-teen at her party to remind us all) I thought she would appreciate finally owning one of Aunt Nicole’s handmade Monstrosities.
So here is Franklin (the name she gave him), who is a “violet” and pink Moffin pencil/art supply holder and the first of its kind!
I wrapped him and the art supplies (seen in the photos) up in cellophane and tied it off with my branding ribbon. We gifted it to her with a book about cryptids and an art sticker maker she had on her wishlist. She got a complete kick out of it.
It was so rewarding to see the reaction she had and the smile on her face. She truly is quite the creature lover like her Aunt Nicole.
You can find Violet and Franklin alongside photos and videos of some of my other happy art collectors on my Freaky Fanatics page of my portfolio website. Franklin can also be found amongst my other handmade monster creations on the Monstrosities page.
And.. if you are looking for a quirky low maintenance companion to call your own, be sure to shop my creations to see which of my Monstrosities are currently available for adopting. Unlike machine mass produced collectibles, these are each handmade with loving intentions and therefore no one else in the world will ever own the one that you adopt. This makes them one-of-a-kind gifts for the person in your life that has everything and are definitely great conversation starters for your home or work decor.
If you are new here, be sure to subscribe to get updates of when my newest creations drop as I am already conjuring up some new monsters that have been lurking around in my brain.
If you are already one of my art collectors, don’t forget to contact me so you can send me your photos or Youtube video links showing how you rock, gift or display my artwork and become a featured Freaky Fanatic!
If you subscribed to the Artflow Alliance Insider last month, after Dominique Sahms featured my idea of an Art Gifting Guide that showcased several of my handmade creations, then you should have already received the December issue in your inbox as of yesterday. However, if you are not subscribed yet, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to hear that the Anti-AI Art shirts and sticker packs I designed, are being showcased in this month’s issue.
For those just learning about them, you can buy these professionally made-to-order t-shirts or pre-made sticker packs in my Etsy shop. Sticker packs are also available to purchase in person at a discounted in-store price** when shopping my Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles in Crete, IL! So whether you’re an artist, an art lover, or just someone who values what makes human creativity so special, show your support by purchasing them today.
Also In this issue of Artflow Alliance Insider you will find a reminder about the free Haunted Histories Virtual Art Exhibition that features two of my art pieces and ends on December 31st. If you haven’t had a chance to get a spooky art fix in yet, now is the perfect time to check it out before the year ends.
You can find these and more examples of where my artwork has been featured on the Creature Features page of my portfolio website. And if you are interested in showcasing my work in your next publication or exhibition, let’s connect and make some magic together!
