Another Undead Bride & Groom Dug Up by the Claws of Living Dead Girl Nicole πŸ§Ÿβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’’πŸ§Ÿβ€β™€οΈ

These corpsified love birds shipped out to their new tomb sweet tomb this past week and I am so happy to finally get to share them here with my art collectors.

Whenever I get a commission request to make a set of these undead bride and groom decor pieces, I feel so honored. Being a former non-traditional Halloween bride myself, I love when other couples do what reflects who they truly are instead of following some boring set protocol for their special day. So to have someone choose my custom hand made creations to be a part of their milestone moment is truly very special to me.

Sometimes people use these for their cake toppers, some use them for wedding reception, anniversary or engagement party decor, and some even have them made as one-of-a-kind gifts to celebrate that unique couple who is getting married or celebrating a milestone anniversary. For this particular set I was commissioned to include a groom with brown eyes and black hair and a bride with green eyes and long blonde hair. Both with 2 eyes and the wedding color for the bride’s veil flower being black. I also started a new process of including a new type of faux moss on these which allowed me to also add it to the bottom of each piece for a nice graveyard effect. A little something extra that I feel makes them even more fun to display. πŸͺ¦

Art Of The Hellmouth Buffy & Angel Tribute Exhibition will feature ‘I Am The Magics’ Willow Rosenberg Piece by Living Dead Girl Nicole πŸ–ΌοΈπŸ§›πŸ»β€β™€οΈβœ¨

The updates have been dropping like vamps in Sunnydale this week, and the momentum isn’t stopping just yet. I know your feed and your inbox are taking a hit, but I wouldn’t want you to be… “bored now” would I? So, “buckle up, Rupert”, because I’ve got some more news to share with my art collectors and the prophecy is now ready to be revealed.

I am officially one of the chosen ones… as in, an artist whose work has been accepted by Hellmouth Events and Giant-Size Productions for their upcoming Art of The Hellmouth Buffy & Angel Tribute Exhibition! My “I Am The Magics” Willow Rosenberg art piece was selected to slay it on display alongside other Buffyverse inspired artwork in a two-week pop-up gallery show that runs from October 17 to November 1, 2026 at Moby’s Coffee & Tea Co. located in North Hollywood, CA. πŸͺ¦

Now, if you are one of my art collectors who has been following my artventure journeys here, you are already fully aware that my dream is to gift Alyson Hannigan my original 8×10″ version of this piece and therefore its not available for sale. So I am contributing a rare, first-of-its-kind 16×20″ canvas print specifically for this show! Whoever purchases this limited edition art print will also receive a certificate of authenticity that states the following:

This certificate confirms that the artwork identified herein is a limited-edition, professionally produced canvas print created specifically for: The Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Angel Tribute Exhibition Show at Moby’s. The original piece was hand-drawn by the artist using pencil and chalk pastels on 8″x10″ paper. This document certifies that this piece is the first-ever 16″x20″ canvas print produced from the original artwork.

There will also be 5×7″ prints of my art piece included in Mystery Blind Bundle Packages that will be available to purchase at the show and to top things off 10% of ALL art sales will go to to Fandom Charities Org: a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to bring fans together in support of meaningful causes. They turn shared passion into real world impact through events, community experiences, and fundraising efforts that celebrate fandom while helping others.

Daily gallery access to see the exhibition is completely free at Moby’s, but the curators and production staff will also be hosting a ticketed Celebrity Kickoff & Drusilla After Dark Event on opening night, Saturday, October 17, featuring a public signing and evening screening with the one and only Juliet Landau! ⚰️

And that’s not all. They are also hosting a ton of other Buffyverse themed events during the duration of the show. Being stuck out in the Midwest and just reading about everything they have planned gives my jealousy quite the “Spike”. Oh, and did I mention, Moby’s is brewing up some Buffy themed drinks and cafe items as well! You know the tea drinker in me would be dying to sink her teeth into those! β˜•οΈ

So, if you are a slayer or a member of the Scooby Gang, be sure to patrol your way to Moby’s in North Hollywood, California from October 17th – November 1st, 2026 and claim your “stake” on my art! πŸ§›πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Last but not least, if you are new here, and just happened upon this post, be sure to check out the Creature Features page of my portfolio website. There, you can find this exhibition listed alongside some of the other unique places my art has been featured over the years. And if you’re a gallery, curator, publication, or other outlet that is interested in showcasing my work, let’s connect, chat and make some magic together!

Chicago Icons Exhibition at Chicago Fine Art Salon will Feature ‘You’re All Grown Up Now’ Svengoolie Piece by Living Dead Girl Nicole πŸ™οΈ πŸ“Ί πŸ–ΌοΈ

I am excited to share yet another art exhibition announcement! My ‘You’re All Grown Up Now‘ split face portrait of Jerry G. Bishop and Rich Koz was accepted by New Gallery to be a part of the Chicago Icons Group Art Exhibition taking place at their Chicago Fine Art Salon!

As described by the curator, “this exhibition digs into the history, culture, and people that makes Chicago unique. From the L to the lakefront, deep dish to deep house, this show celebrates the people, places, and cultural moments that are uniquely, undeniably Chicago.” πŸ™οΈβœ¨

When I saw the call for art for this exhibition I knew I had to submit to it. You really can’t talk or even think of Chicago icons and not think of Svengoolie, which is why I am truly honored to be the artist whose work will represent not just our horror community in general but a legendary Chicago-born horror movie hosting program and local legend that has entertained generations of us fans as a staple of Chicagoland television and broadcasting for over 50 years. πŸ“Ίβœ¨

Now, if you are one of my art collectors who has been following my artventure journeys, you are already fully aware that the original 8×10″ version of this piece was gifted directly to Rich Koz himself, and was even recently featured on his MeTV show last month. Therefore the original is not available for purchase. So I have contributed a rare, 16×20″ canvas print specifically for this show that comes with a certificate of authenticity that states the following:

“This certificate confirms that the artwork identified herein is a limited-edition, professionally produced 16″ x 20″ canvas print created specifically for: Chicago Icons Exhibition show at the Chicago Fine Art Salon. The original piece was hand-drawn by the artist using pencil, colored pencils & chalk pastels on 8″x10” paper & is not only owned by Rich Koz/Svengoolie himself, but was also featured on The MeTV Svengoolie television show.“

So, if you are a local Chicagoan or happen to be in the Chicagoland area between October 2nd – November 6, 2026 make sure to visit New Gallery‘s Chicago Fine Art Salon and see this special piece on display amongst the other amazing pieces of artwork representing iconic interpretations of Chicago. And for those who are not able to make it to the gallery itself, this unique piece will also be available to purchase directly from the gallery’s shop page on their website during the duration of the show.

Last but not least, if you are new here, and just happened upon this post, be sure to check out the Creature Features page of my portfolio website. There, you can find this exhibition listed alongside some of the other unique places my art has been featured over the years. Happy October 1st my Freaky Fanatics! I have some fun and exciting news to share with all of you! Night Terror Magazine just released Issue 25 of their killer publication today and this one is extra special. The Of The Land & Winter Wails Issue is not only a community issue but it’s also their first quarterly issue and it features a very ghoul Holiday Gift Guide spotlighting small businesses that were hand selected by their editors…. including mine!

How fun are these graphics they created for the social post announcements….

This literary mag is filled with incredible folklore and short stories from the very talented horror community and although you can scroll the pages digitally online, I highly recommend purchasing a print copy. Not just for that nostalgic feeling of reading something in your hand that isn’t on a screen, but also to see all the hard work that goes into every page this publication puts together. You can find my work and shop featured in the gift guide section on page 60 of the digital zine (screen shot below) and can also order a copy in their shop on their website.

For those not familiar with Night Terror Magazine here is a snippet about them and why I was honored to be chosen to be a part of what they are producing:

Authors, artists, creatives, and enthusiasts make up this incredible community and it’s our mission to provide a platform to encompass the creative sphere. Night Terror supports the artistic liberation of self-publishing and empowers independent creators in the horror genre.

If you are not one of my art collectors (yet) and just happened to randomly discover this post on my blog page, be sure to subscribe while you are here so you don’t miss future announcements of the unique ways my artwork is being featured.
