Super stoked to see that The George A. Romero Foundation selected me to be today’s Artist Feature as a part of their celebration of Women In Horror and to bring awareness for Women In History month. Check it out and please give some ❤️ to the fun feature on their Instagram page here!

For those not familiar with the foundation here is a snippet from their website about who they are and what their focus is…

“The George A. Romero Foundation (The GARF) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to honoring George’s life, art, and cultural impact by restoring and preserving his portfolio and legacy, and supporting the dreams and imaginations of independent filmmakers, artists, and writers inspired by George.

I’m incredibly honored to have my work featured by a community that not only honors George’s legacy but celebrates the women who support the horror movie genre.

You can see Zombie George and some of my other corpsified creations at the Adopt The Undead section of my portfolio website! Want to see the other great places that have been featured my work? Living Dead Girl Nicole is a Canvas Rebel

1

I am thrilled to announce that I have been chosen to be featured as a Canvas Rebel! Read my full feature interview here!

For those not familiar with Canvas Rebel here are some snippets from their website about who they are and what their focus is…

“The small business owners, artists and creatives in our communities are brilliant and deserve more coverage, more platforms and more opportunities to share their stories and insights and we’re excited to play a small role in getting those insights out into the world through our CanvasRebel features.

Our mission is to create a space for artists, creatives and entrepreneurs to be able to learn from their peers through the magic and power of storytelling. Through our conversations with thousands of small business owners, artists and creatives we noticed that there was a need for even more storytelling – stories about our business or career that we might share at dinner or over coffee, but that wouldn’t necessarily make it into our memoir at the end of our lives; stories that illustrate the nitty-gritty details of what it takes to be successful day to day, how to build and grow a client base, recruit, train and manage a team or generate a living from your art.

From the soap you use, the clothes you wear, the coffee you drink to the gym you frequent and art you hang on your walls – there are an infinite number of ways to support the independent artists, makers and small business owners who make our communities amazing places to live and work. There is so much we can learn from each other and we hope these stories inspire you to pursue your passion and support those who are doing so themselves.

I’m incredibly grateful to be included among so many rebels who are making strides in the creative arts world and am honored to add this to my ongoing list of Creature Features on my portfolio website!

Stay Strange, Magical & Rebellious,

Bold Journey Interviews Living Dead Girl Nicole

I am excited to announce that I have been featured on Bold Journey! You can read the full feature interview here!

For those not familiar with Bold Journey here is a snippet from their website about who they are and what their focus is…

Every problem or dilemma we face has been faced by countless others in the past and so we wanted to create a place to have conversations around those challenges – be it finding a way to thrive after divorce, bouncing back after a layoff, overcoming imposter syndrome or developing the ability to ignore haters. Living life boldly means exposing yourself to all sorts of risk – risk of loss, risk of criticism and judgement, risk of mental, emotional, or physical distress. It’s no wonder, so many of us are raised to not live boldly, to not take risks, to not push ourselves to reach our highest potential.

In our view, one of the best ways to deal with those challenges is to learn from the stories and experiences of others.  We think it’s insane that after thousands of years of human civilization, it is still so hard to find stories related to the problems you might be facing at any given moment. Our mission is to create a space for all of us to learn from each other. We believe the stories, experiences and insights of our neighbors, friends and peers are worth more than all the wealth in the world as these stories are the most relevant and authentic sources of wisdom.

Our love of the storytelling format comes from our founding of VoyageLA almost a decade ago, where we ask folks to share the story of their lives and how they got to where they are today. As we’ve expanded to cities across the country, we’ve been blown away by the realization that there are so many lessons and so much wisdom within our communities – but not nearly enough coverage. There is so much we can learn from each other and we hope these stories inspire you to pursue your passion and support those who are doing so themselves.

To be featured on Bold Journey, one must either be discovered by their team or nominated by someone else. I’m not sure how I came to their attention, but I’m incredibly grateful to be included among so many remarkable individuals making bold strides to be true to themselves.

Check out the Creature Feature section of my portfolio website to see more places where me and/or my art has been featured!

Stay Spooky, Magical..and Bold!
