I wanted to take a moment to thank Chi Art Connect on Instagram for featuring me in their latest Artist Spotlight this week! 🀩

For those not familiar with Chi Art Connect they are curators dedicated to uplifting, connecting, and elevating local artists. They not only specialize in featuring local artists but they also spread the word about public open art calls throughout the Chicagoland area.

I am honored to have my work in the spotlight on their page, so please take a moment to check it out and give the post and their page some love and show them you appreciate what they are doing to help support our local arts community.

If you are new here, you can also always find this spotlight amongst the other unique places my artwork has been featured by visiting and bookmarking the Creature Features page of my portfolio website.

If you are interested in showcasing my work on your website, in your next publication, exhibition, social media spotlights or creative ventures let’s connect and make some magic together!

Living Dead Girl Nicole Joins Artist-First Platform Lyric!

0

I’m thrilled to announce that Artwork By Living Dead Girl Nicole is now a part of the Lyric art community!

My belief in art as a tool for connection and my passion for uplifting other creatives resonated deeply when I learned about Lyric and their mission, which made me confident it was the perfect new platform to showcase my artwork.

What Is Lyric?

Lyric is more than just an e-commerce platform for artists, makers, and indie brands, it’s a collaborative environment built for creatives to empower one another. Lyric’s mission is to help creators grow their businesses by offering intuitive tools and beautiful storefronts, while also providing a space where artists can recommend and support one another to increase exposure for our work as a whole.

Whether you’re a longtime collector or discovering my work for the first time, you can now find the same curated selection of my horror, pop culture, and whimsical art that is available to purchase online at Lyric.

And… if you are a fellow artist on Lyric you can now connect with my shop and recommend it to others.

Farewell Amazon Handmade

The Shop My Creations page of my portfolio website has been updated to reflect the addition of my new Lyric shop alongside Etsy and Closet Collectibles. You may also notice that Amazon Handmade has been removed, this is because I’ve decided to close that shop. Unfortunately, I experienced repeated issues with online art theft from individuals stealing my listings and attempting to resell my work on foreign platforms. Rather than continue fighting a system that doesn’t adequately protect independent artists, I’m choosing to focus my energy on platforms like Lyric, where the emphasis is truly on creators and our artist community.

I’m so grateful to have such wonderful supporters, and I look forward to building new connections through Lyric. If you’re an artist, collector, or lover of unique art, I hope you’ll join me there!

Art for Everyone: Bob Ross Exhibit at Dunn Museum

0

Took a wonderful day date adventure with the hubby to see the Art For Everyone: Bob Ross exhibit at the Dunn Museum over the weekend. We were both in awe to be so close to so many of his masterpieces. Each painting was labeled with what episode they were from and we loved being able to recognize so many that we have watched him create on The Joy Of Painting. πŸ–Ό πŸ’•

And of course, no trip to a museum is complete without a stop at the gift shop, where I was pleasantly surprised to find these awesome items from The Paint Sesh!
