0

I made another art drop/restock at Closet Collectibles this weekend! I rearranged the print bins inside my Cabinets of Curiosities to accommodate even more 8″x10″ canvas prints. I also added a fresh new stack of 5″x7″ giclee prints to the mix as well!

As always, my art collectors who choose to shop my work in-person at Closet Collectibles vs online in my Etsy shop benefit from discounted in-store pricing** so if you’re ready to deck your walls, be sure to stop by, check out my work, and stock up on unique, human-made collectible art! There is now plenty to choose from for your own personal collection or to gift for the holidays and every purchase supports not just me, but an amazing small local business who believes in my creative endeavors! πŸ›οΈπŸ–ΌοΈβœ¨

New Tim Burton Art Flare For Your Holiday Decor! β„οΈπŸ’€

0

The holidays are upon us, and it’s the perfect time to add a little dark whimsy to your festive decor. To help support this mission, I’m excited to offer 4-inch clear acrylic snowflake ornaments, featuring giclee prints of my pencil and charcoal portrait β€œWhat Nightmares Are Made Of” (which is currently on display at Beetlehouse LA)!

Each ornament contains two professionally printed giclee images sealed within the acrylic, ensuring the artwork is not only protected but visible from both sides. It comes ready to hang with a sleek silver cord, making it an effortless way to give your Yule or Christmas tree a truly unique twist for years to come. πŸŽ„β„οΈβœ¨

But why stop at the holidays? This ornament is also perfect for displaying year-round alongside your Tim Burton or Nightmare Before Christmas collection and spooky decor. Think of it as a little unique artistic nod to your inner Pumpkin King or Queen. πŸ’€πŸŽƒβœ¨

I only have four of these ornaments in stock, so if you want one for yourself or as a gift for that special Sally in your life, grab one while you can! They’re available in my Etsy shop and if you are local you can take advantage of my discounted in-store pricing** by purchasing them directly from my Cabinets of Curiosities at Closet Collectibles in Crete, IL! I made a special art drop visit to the store on Friday, and it was packed with collectors hunting for unique treasures, so don’t wait too long to get yours.

As always, please also share this post and help remind everyone that choosing artists and small local businesses this holiday season helps keep creativity and our communities thriving. πŸ›πŸŽβœ¨

Lydia Unboxes 80s Pop Culture Art by Living Dead Girl Nicole

2

My newest art collector, Lydia, discovered my artwork after we connected over our artistic outlets of expression (give this girl a harp or piano and you won’t be disappointed) as well as our mutual pop-culture obsessions on LinkedIn. When I learned she also has a soft spot for Jeff Goldblum, it felt perfectly fitting to see an Etsy order come through from her for a canvas print of my “Insect Politics” split-face portrait of Brundlefly. And because we both share a deep love of 80s kids’ nostalgia, it made total sense that she would take the opportunity to snatch up one of my Limited Edition Totally 80’s sticker packs while I still had some in stock.

True to her generous spirit, Lydia didn’t just enjoy her new art privately, she shared the excitement by posting an unboxing video across her social media, snapping a great photo of her purchase, and even left a heartfelt 5-star Etsy review that absolutely made my day.

“I am a HUGE Jeff Goldblum fan and was thrilled with this beautiful art of Jeff and the Fly! The hand drawn stickers of Pee Wee, Labyrinth, Little Monsters are amazing with detail! Beautiful pieces of art and excited to add these to my 80s collection. πŸ’•πŸ™‚” – Lydia B. on Etsy

It’s collectors like Lydia that remind me that those who really get my art will one day discover and love it as much as I did creating it. I am so honored to have my work on display in the happy space of her home filled with so much rad 80’s nostalgia!

If you’re new here, be sure to check out Lydia’s photo and video submissions featured alongside some of my other happy art collectors on the Freaky Fanatics page of my portfolio website.

And if you are looking for an extremely talented harpist and pianist, or an enthusiastic travel agent, be sure to connect with Lydia on Linkedin! She also has a travel vlog diary on Youtube, a Spotify channel for those looking to zen out to her music, and a totally tubular 80s themed TikTok for those who are feeling nostalgic! Find and support them all here!

Looking for some new art for your collection or to add some unique spark to a special space in your home? Shop my creations! And if you already have, be sure to take photos or a video of yourself rocking or displaying my artwork and contact me to be featured!

In celebration of the final season of Stranger Things premiering this Wednesday, I made a special art drop visit to Closet Collectibles yesterday to add a freshly printed canvas of my “Pretty Bitchin'” split face portrait of Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven (in Seasons 1 and 2) to my Cabinets of Curiosities. πŸ™ƒβœ¨οΈ

While I was there I also took some time to wrap each canvas print that was already on display with clear, protective cellophane bags and branded labels, making them even more giftable for the upcoming holiday season! 🎁✨️

As always, my art collectors who choose to shop my work in-person at Closet Collectibles vs online in my Etsy shop benefit from discounted in-store pricing** so be sure to stop by, check out my work, and stock up on unique, human-made collectible art!
