Positivity Takes Flight with Citrine Skullerfly Creation by Living Dead Girl Nicole

When it comes to all the natural crystals and gemstones this world has gifted us, citrine has a joyful energy all its own. Known as the stone of positivity, citrine radiates bright, sun-kissed light that’s perfect for uplifting any space while also lifting your spirit. I’ve always been drawn to citrine and love how its warm hues and powerful metaphysical energy help keep my mindset positive and my intentions clear. With its golden glow, you can’t help but look at it and feel a burst of energy and light that makes you excited and ready to manifest your best intentions.

With that being said, there is an abundance of joy and empowering intentions in this special new piece I have handcrafted and added to my Spellbinding Collection. As with all of my Spiritual Skullerfly Ornamental Crystal Wreaths, this one also has a rosary of the crystal that inspired it and a clear crystal quartz to amplify its positive energy. As you may have already noticed from the photo above, this piece in particular has a bonus raw citrine crystal hanging from it as well. It has been blessed with incense, charged by last night’s Flower Full Moon, and is adorned in real twigs that were hand picked and dipped in glitter to represent the magical properties of nature. This handmade creation is perfect for hanging in your living room, hallway, or any space where you want to invite joy, lift the mood, and create a warm, positive atmosphere.

Each one of these pieces are one-of-a-kind and marked as limited edition because I only make one of these for each specific type of crystal that inspires me. This allows the piece to be extra special and reach the person the universe feels it was intended for.

Not only do I obviously love the color purple, but amethyst is also my birthstone and I love the powerful, metaphysical properties and energy it provides to keep me divinely guided.

Ashley Has The Eye of The Tiger

I am loving these photos that my Etsy customer Ashley sent to me! She received my Tiger’s Eye Spiritual Skullerfly Crystal Ornamental Wreath and wanted to share how she’s displaying it in her home. Can we talk about how perfect it looks next to her fun leopard print lamp?!

With her photos Ashley sent me a message saying..

For those that are new here, I make these pieces of art inspired by a specific crystal or gemstone. They are made with loving intentions and before I put them up for sale I always bless them with incense and charge them by the full moon. Once the piece is sold it is forever with the one it is meant to be with and I never make one inspired by that specific crystal or gemstone again. This makes them one-of-a-kind and truly special to the person who owns them. A little bit of handmade magic!

“Maybe Today Satan” a Tribute to Sabrina Spellman by Artist Living Dead Girl Nicole

I will start off by saying (once again) that I have never really been a fan of re-makes and re-boots. However, I will allow you to quote me as saying that the “re-boot” of Sabrina The Teenage Witch is quite the exception. Those of us who grew up on the Archie comics, the cartoon and even embraced the 90s TV sitcom got to enjoy the cutesy version of Sabrina Spellman.

Now as adults we get to bask in the sinful glory of a MUCH darker side of what it could have been like to be in Sabrina’s half-witch half-mortal shoes. So in other words, The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina on Netflix is the version I had always hoped for but never got (sorry Melissa Joan Hart but I did love you in Clarissa Explains It All!). The first time I laid eyes on The Academy of Unseen Arts I was like “Screw Hogwarts! Sign me up here!” (I even have an alumni sweatshirt cause I am a dork like that). So I guess what I am trying to say is that I really dig this show. I think a lot of it has to do with all the incredible Biblical, Pagen, Horror Movie, Archie and Riverdale references that they incorporate and cross reference on top of the story line. Some being super obvious and others as hidden Easter Eggs for fans who really “get it”.

That leads me to my latest art piece inspired by the beautifully talented Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina. I didn’t want to just draw her in her everyday look. If you know a thing or two about the show you will definitely get the play on words that I am using for the title as you take in what I have drawn. I call it “Maybe Today Satan”…

For those who have not started watching this show yet, I will not give away too much. What I will say is that this split face portrait is inspired by Sabrina’s two royalty looks as the Queen of Hell aka Sabrina Spellman – Morningstar! This piece was done in pencils and chalk pastels.
