Slash Sisters Podcast Features Artwork By Living Dead Girl Nicole

1

πŸŽ™ I just want to take a moment to thank the Slash Sisters for the killer shout-out and feature of my “Chop Driftwood” split face portrait of Bill Moseley on their latest podcast episode!

Tune in and hear their review and discussion of the cult classic (and my personal franchise favorite) Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2. While you are there, leave their channel some comment love, share the link, and subscribe to their channel.

You can now also find this episode amongst the other places my art has been featured on the Creature Features page of my portfolio website as well as on the Freaky Fanatics page under the On Air slideshow and Viral Video playlist.

πŸ’€ Fun Fact: Bill Moseley actually owns the original of this art piece. I gifted it to him back in 2018 at Days of The Dead Chicago.

πŸ’€ Fun Fact: This art piece was inspired by Bill’s iconic roles as Chop Top from Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 and Otis Driftwood in House of 1000 Corpses/The Devil Rejects. Hence, the “Dog Will Hunt” and “Run Rabbit Run” references.

To celebrate, anyone that watches the video and then shops my Etsy Shop using discount code SlashSisters will receive 13% slashed off their order at check out! Please note that this does not include made-to-order, fundraiser, or sales items.

Custom Massacre Zombified 3 Piece Frame Set

0

Just boxed up and shipped off another custom Etsy order. This time the client requested 3 of my Massacre Zombie Decor Picture Frames and wanted one of each of the colors that I offer. What I love about them is that no two are ever a like. Here is how they turned out..

If you’re like me and like a good gothic, oddities type decor in your tomb sweet tomb (aka home) these are the perfect addition and great conversation starters. I find that they make great displays for Halloween, Horror and Gothic wedding photos, zombie walk photos and horror movie convention photos.

See more of my various Undead Decor on the Adopt The Undead page of my portfolio website. Feel free to contact me on my site or through Etsy to have one or more made custom for you!

Stay Spooky & Magical,

Days Of The Dead Indy 2017

Days Of The Dead Indy 2017 (5)We just got back from Indy. Our friend gave us some weekend passes for Days of the Dead. It worked out perfectly because I really wanted to give Sid (Haig) my “Shit The Bed” split face portrait. I was waiting to see when he would be back in Chicago but these passes ended up working out perfectly. Frank and I had been discussing a small summer getaway, we had the extended long weekend already for the holiday and most importantly Sid was on the guest list. His birthday is in July so I thought how perfect is it that I will be give it to him before his birthday. So I made sure to wrap up my portrait (red and blue of course) and we were on our way!

Sid loved the portrait but he also took the time to catch up with us over dinner and drinks. These cons tend to get pretty busy so it was nice to have some sit down time with him since we don’t get to see him all the time. He is such a wise man. We took in so much of his knowledge, advice and enjoyed every minute of the quality time we got to spend with him. He also really loved seeing my Spaulding Skull tattoo (he had previously emailed me telling me it was “so fucking cool” right after I had gotten it) and signed an autograph for my Dad. I am truly grateful to have such an amazing person that I can call a friend.Β Days Of The Dead Indy 2017 (1)

I also was pretty happy to see that Felissa Rose (Angela Baker from Sleepaway Camp) was added as a last minute guest addition. So Frank and I decided to pay her a visit. Seriously one of the sweetest guests to meet at a con. She kept telling me how cute I was. How much she loved my Carrie/Barbie mash up shirt (she even took a photo of it) and kept saying how great Frank and I were together. I highly recommend meeting her if you get a chance at a con.

Here are some great shots Frank took of me with some of the decor they had up at the con. The Halloween house was really well put together and I was drawn to it right away. The zombie girl eating intestines… well I told her I didn’t have too much of mine left so she shared some with me ha ha.

The weekend in general was much needed little getaway and we had a blast. Here are some photos of our horror haul we brought home with us. We had to stay with in our budget (due to a hotel room dilemma that cost us more then we expected) but I think we did pretty good for what we could get.

Frankenhooker, They Live and Beetlejuice T-shirts, Critter Action Figure, Leatherface Political button, Elvira, Brainscan and Alien patches!
