Limited Edition Moffin Batch 2 Stash Boxes Now at Closet Collectibles!

0

I completed my latest art drop off at Closet Collectibles (in Crete IL.) over the weekend! This drop off included my last 2 remaining handcrafted Moffin Stash Boxes from Batch 2!

Buy them (or any of my art) in person at the store for a discounted price* and support an artist and a small business at the same time. For those who are not local they are still available to purchase online in my Etsy shop as well.

LDG Nicole

*Price is discounted from online store prices. Etsy listings reflect the unfortunate amount of shop and transaction fees they charge us artists to sell online. If you are local or traveling to Illinois, I encourage my clients to save money and see my work on full display by shopping my artwork in person with my consignment partner, Closet Collectibles where they truly support my creative endeavors to the fullest as their resident local artist.

Juniper and Ruby Visit Closet Collectibles

2

My cousin Patrick brought his girls, Juniper and Ruby to see my work in store at Closet Collectibles. He sent me this beautiful photo of them with my store display and it truly lifted my spirits! πŸ‘»

I would like to take a moment to give Patrick a little shoutout as well…. for always supporting my work, always taking the time to like and share my art posts and for all the wonderful messages of feedback he sends to me whenever I share a new creation. With so much of my soul going into what I create it truly means the world to me to have this type of support. It also is so wonderful to see that he instills these values into his daughters to not only support family, but artists and small businesses like Closet Collectibles as well.

See Juniper and Ruby in the Freaky Fanatic slide show of my official portfolio website.

I am very excited to announce that I have partnered up with one of my favorite places to shop…. Closet Collectibles! This is the place my husband and I frequent during our treasure hunting adventures and on one of our recent visits they offered me a special place to display and sell my creations in their store. This gives you Freaky Fanatics a chance to now see and purchase my artwork up close and in person without waiting for me to vend my next event.

Closet Collectibles – 1626 Wood Street, Crete IL 60417

Closet Collectibles is a family owned, small business located in Crete IL that focuses on everything you could imagine collecting and for all ages! This includes stuff for us big kids who still enjoy a memorable toy from their childhood or an action figure that was discontinued that you still can’t live without (yes I am speaking from experience). People travel from all over to come to their shop because their variety and staff are incredible and their inventory is always growing. Each time you visit there you are sure to see or find something new and never leave empty handed.

Here is a sneak peak of some of my items already on display in their store….

Shopping with Closet Collectibles means you are supporting a small, family owned business that is not only passionate about what they do but also believes in this local artist. So the next time you plan your next treasure hunting adventure make sure to add Closet Collectibles to your list of stops and also follow them on Facebook for inventory updates every Wednesday!

Don’t forget to tell them Living Dead Girl Nicole sent you and make sure to adventure through both floors of their amazing inventory! You can thank me later!

Closet Collectibles is located at 1626 Wood Street, Crete IL 60417 and they are open weekly Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 5pm CST.

I was recently interviewed by the Chicago Tribune regarding our Frankenhearse. The article featured us as well as some of our fellow Hardcore Hearse Club members for our unique collection of hearses!

You can read the full article here.

Our photo was not included because the writer was not able to schedule a photographer in time. So here is a photo of us with Frankenhearse in case you haven’t seen our beast before!

Stay strange! Being normal gets you no where!
