Another Cotton Candy Cocoon Collector

0

Happy to say I was commissioned to make another one of my Cotton Candy Cocoon Ornaments and it is now being packaged up to ship to my new art collector!

This is now the 6th one of these that I have made for fellow Killer Klowns From Outerspace fans, and I love experimenting every time I make something I have made before. Always raising the bar and learning along the way on how I can improve my techniques. The upgraded hand sculpted toppers were the first thing I improved on and now this time I extended the cotton up a tad higher and also made it a little smoother. Needless to say, I am really happy with how it turned out and so is the client.

Once again I want to give a shoutout to my hubby Frank for always lending me his mad engineer skills to drill and make the tubing fit and work so perfectly every time I am commissioned to make one of these.

For those of you that are new to my work or stumbled across this post due to your love of campy 80’s horror movies, these handmade ornaments measure approximately 8″ from the bottom to the top of the hook. Each one is handcrafted so no two are ever the same. Unfortunately you can’t drink the essence of the person inside them as they’ve been pretty drained already, however they make pretty rad handmade horror decor for your home or Yule tree (if you like a spookier vibe for the holidays). My art collectors tend to display them next to their collection of Killer Klown figurines, Funkos, etc.

Also, these sold out very quickly when I first pre-made a couple of them so now I offer them as a Made-To-Order item inΒ my Etsy shop. So if you are interested in commissioning me to make you one be sure to reach out with any questions or check out using the listing here.

Hey Georgie!

0

I have created two new Horror Villain Icon Dead Girl Decay barrettes this past weekend and I could not be happier with how they turned out.

As many of you know I am not a fan of remakes and reboots. Especially if they do not include the original cast or should be left alone entirely. However, based on the stash of goodies I scored recently and the ability to be inspired by both very different Pennywise clown costumes I made an “OG Hey Georgie!” barrette featuring the look of Tim Curry as Pennywise in Stephen King’s IT (which is the way I will always lean) and a “Hey Georgie!” featuring the look of Bill Skarsgard as the new look of Pennywise.

Like all of my Limited Edition pre-made creations there is only one of each of these available as of right now because I like everything to be one-of-a-kind. There is a possibility to make more variations of these but no two will ever be the same. These two are now available for purchase in my online Etsy shop and will soon be available to purchase in person when I make my next art drop off at Closet Collectibles in Crete IL. So in other words… once they are gone they are gone.

Did you know?: When not being worn my Freaky Fanatics love clipping their Dead Girl Decay barrettes to things to decorate their homes and more! They truly are unique pieces of wearable art!

Be sure to check out some of the other accessories I have made in the Dead Girl Decay section of my official portfolio website. Many of the themed ones you see on my site were actually commissioned by clients as custom orders. So if you are looking for something in particular hit me up! Most of all stay tuned and subscribe here if you have not already done. I have lots more up my creepy little sleeve for my fellow horror geeks!

Adopt Chords – A Corpsified Clown Music Box Creation

0

With it being all virus-like in the world right now and me being stuck in the house for a month I have been getting pretty inspired. It’s been a while since I made any corpsified creations, and I thought…what better time than now! I wanted to give you all something more terrifying to think about other then Corona Virus. So with that I would like you to meet Chords!

He is a Corpsified Clown made from an upcycled music box and is now looking for his new forever home!

Wind up his distressed, bloody silver drum and watch him move as he glares at you (with his one good eye as the other is a bit oozy) and plays you a tune with a drooling bloody smile on his face. Chords is pre-made and ready to ship to his new forever home and measures approximately 8″ tall. Each of my corpsified creations are handcrafted to be one of a kind and no two are ever alike or remade. A unique piece of art only you will own!

See Chords in action….

Please note this is NOT a toy. This is a decoration/collectible for adults and is not intended to be played with by children. Although I really do feel this would work a lot better at getting your kids to behave than that silly Elf you guys put around your homes at Christmas time! Just saying.

Chords is available to adopt in my Amazon shop! You can also see more of my corpsified creations on the Adopt The Undead page of my Portfolio site.

Spitting Image: Penny Furter

4

Pretty excited to share my latest portrait with my followers. This one is in tribute to the very talented, Tim Curry. A mastermind actor who could bring creepiness, fun and just about any character to life on the big screen.

This one is anotherΒ split face portrait (my specialty) that my fellow freaks will appreciate. It’s half TimΒ as Pennywise in Stephen King’s IT and the other half as him as Franken Furter in Rocky Horror picture show.

Now available as giclee prints and on t-shirts in my Etsy shop! See more of my portrait work on the Spitting Image page of my site!
