You’ll Be Hooked On My Latest Moffin Creation

1

What the world needs now is more Moffins! Not only do they bring joy to those who adopt them, but they are also one of my favorite things to make. I just love the way their little personalities begin to shine through during the creative process, making them that much more unique and one of a kind. So needless to say, this whimsical goth has transformed yet another coffin-shaped treasure into a new monstrous friend for someone to adopt, but I can’t tell you how tempted I have been to keep this cutie for myself.

For this Moffin, I treasure-hunted a brand new coffin-shaped wall hook and transformed it into a slimy but sparkly, unicorn-horned monster who can’t wait to magically protect your keys, jewelry, your glasses, hand towels, or anything lightweight.

Moffin Monster Wall Hook Decor Handmade by Artist Living Dead Girl Nicole

This creation measures 6″ from its base to the top of its bright blue head and is 3″ at the widest part of its face. It has magenta and bright blue eyes and a hand-sculpted unicorn horn with matching magenta and lavender faux fur hair. Like my other Moffins, it has “slimy” skin, but this special guy also has a touch of sparkle! I mean, look at him. He was born to sparkle! On the bottom is a black metal hook to hang your treasures.

There is only one of these pre-made making it a unique piece of handmade art that you and only you can display in your home. It is currently listed for sale in my Etsy shop and will soon be available to see in person and purchase at Closet Collectibles in Crete, IL for a discounted rate*.

*Price is discounted from online store prices. Etsy listings reflect the unfortunate amount of shop and transaction fees they charge us artists to sell online. If you are local or traveling to Illinois, I encourage my clients to save money and see my work on full display by shopping my artwork in person with my consignment partner, Closet Collectibles where they truly support my creative endeavors as their resident local artist.

Betty – The New Sock Hopping Undead Doll by Artist Living Dead Girl Nicole

3

My Limited Edition Corpsified Dolls are starting to be even more limited. The ones I have in stock have been selling out with spooky season on the horizon. Needless to say this motivated me to make another one to give a lucky boil or ghoul the opportunity to adopt one of these unique and creepy fun creations.

I call this blue eye(d) beauty, Betty and she is my 6th doll in my Undead Doll series. Like my other dolls she is handcrafted to be one of a kind and no two are ever alike or remade. A unique piece of art only you will own!

Betty is a 1950’s inspired Corpse Doll complete with a sparkly sweater/cardigan top, poodle skirt, knee high socks, saddle shoes and a cute blonde high ponytail topped with a pink bow! She’s ready for the sock hop, the drive in or a date to the diner for a bloody good time.. just don’t mind the dirt, decay, blood and drool!

Please note this is NOT a toy. This is an indoor decoration/collectible for adults to display and is not intended to be played with by children etc. The clothes are a part of the artistic vision and are not removable.

Betty is an 18″ doll but with her bouncy high ponytail she is approximately 20″ and comes with 1 metal doll stand.

Betty is currently available to purchase in my Etsy shop online right now and will soon be available to purchase in person at Closet Collectibles in Crete, IL. I have some other creations up my sleeve before I make my next art drop off there so keep your eyes and ears open to my posts for updates.

Adopt The Undead: Isn’t She.. Pretty (Deadly) In Pink

1

As promised I have completed another undead friend that will be joining myΒ Two-Headed Bride and Evil Queen dolls at the upcoming Hardcore Hearse Club Show. This one, however, is quite the corpsified cutie in her pink floral dress, matching purse on gold chain, fancy sun hat, and pearl necklace.

You can’t help but smile looking at her. I also hope it makes you smile knowing you now have three chances of owning one of my limited edition dolls! Like the other two, this doll will first be available for purchase at my vending booth at theΒ Hardcore Hearse Club show on June 15th. So anyone that comes out to the show will get first dibs! And like the others, she will not be duplicated making her a one-of-a-kind creepy creation!Β

See more of my handmade undead friends on theΒ Adopt The Undead section of my online portfolio. Spread the gore!

Dead Girl Decay: Shirley Manson Inspired Skullerfly Barrette

0

I have met alot of cool people in my lifetime but I don’t think I will be so lucky (and honored) enough to meet and give this to Shirley Manson, so…….. I made it anyways and plan to rock it at the Garbage 20th Anniversary Concert thatΒ Frank and I are going to next weekend. I could not be more excited about the show. I saw them for the first time in 1995 and now getting to see them again in 2015 is going to be epic. Shirley of course was the inspiration for this Dead Girl Skullerfly Decay Barrette. Maybe she will spot it in the crowd and I can actually give it to her (a girl can dream right ha ha). Anyone know her? Share this post with her ;)~

I am actually working on a Shirley inspired 20 Years Queer Portrait! Stay tuned!
