I completed my latest art drop off and restock at Closet Collectibles (in Crete IL.) over the weekend. The newest addition to my store display are my new Limited Edition Cotton Candy Cocoon Ornaments inspired by my love of Killer Klowns From Outer Space.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space Cotton Candy Cocoon Ornaments by Living Dead Girl Nicole available at Closet Collectibes in Crete IL

See them in person and buy them at the store for a discounted price* and support an artist and a small business at the same time. For those who are not local they are also available to purchase online in my Etsy shop as well. There are currently 2 pre-made and ready to decorate your circus tents (aka homes) so get them before they are gone!

*Price is discounted from online store prices. Etsy listings reflect the unfortunate amount of shop and transaction fees they charge us artists to sell online. If you are local or traveling to Illinois, I encourage my clients to save money and see my work on full display by shopping my artwork in person with my consignment partner, Closet Collectibles where they truly support my creative endeavors to the fullest as their resident local artist.

Truly Outrageous and Spellbinding Art Now at Closet Collectibles

0

This weekend my husband and I made a stop at Closet Collectibles to do another restock and art drop off while also picking up some items they are donating for the swag bag prizes I am putting together for the upcoming Flashback Weekend Horror Con.

The two newest handmade items hitting their store shelves are my Amethyst Skullerfly Ornamental Crystal Wreath and a new Closet Collectibles exclusive item!

Let’s just say.. if Barbie is not quite your thing right now, I have you covered. This new exclusive item is for my fellow truly outrageous Jem and the Holograms groupies! My “It’s Showtime Synergy” split face Jem and Pizzazz painting is now a part of my Limited Edition Signed Prints in Resurrected Frames (upcycled and hand decorated by me)! πŸ’–πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸŽ€πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸŽ€πŸ’š

Like my other resurrected framed prints, this is also aΒ Closet CollectiblesΒ exclusive item, which means if you want to own this unique piece of “art framed in art” you can only purchase it in person at their Crete, IL. store location. However, If you would like a made-to-order giclee print or t-shirt of the art piece those are always available to purchase online in my Etsy shop.

So after you share this post, be sure to take a break from the internet, shop small and go support local at Closet Collectibles. Their shop has so many incredible items you won’t regret paying them a visit (except for the fact that you may want everything you see) and like the rest of us, will most likely become a regular as their inventory is always changing with fun new items.

Be sure to tell them Living Dead Girl Nicole sent ya!

Stay Spooky & Magical,

New Closet Collectibles Display!

Over the weekend I did another art drop off/pickup at Closet Collectibles (Crete IL)! I was pleasantly surprised to find that they gave me a new display spot in the store and I could not be happier.

It has nothing to do with my love of built-ins (well maybe that’s part of it) but it has everything to do with it being a prime spot in the store that really showcases and protects my work! I really love it! πŸ’œΒ

While I was there I picked up my Undead Doll Betty who was adopted on Etsy. Holly has now taken her place on display and is waiting for someone to adopt her and Teddy.

My “The Lovers. The Dreamers. And Me.” (of Jim Henson and Kermit) portrait prints also made their debut. While I was there I also re-stocked my sold out giclee art prints of my other Spitting Image portraits (which are now on the 3rd shelf pictured).

I am so grateful to Chris and Michelle for always thinking of and supporting me as their resident local artist at Closet Collectibles. Mother’s Day weekend is always a rough time for me so this really lifted my spirits. So blessed to be a part of such an incredible store ran by such incredible people. I can not recommend shopping there enough. And when you do, be sure to tell them..”Living Dead Girl Nicole sent me!”
