Dead Girl Decay: Barrettes for Lauren and Baby Mia

This weekend was a busy but eventful one. Sunday was our cousin’s baby shower. When I found out they were having a girl I was super stoked to get crafting away on gifts for baby Mia. I was inspired by things that I knew Lauren really liked.

This included a set of my Mummy & Me (matching for Mother and Daughter) Sugar Skull barrettes. I knew they were doing the baby’s nursery in lavendar so I wanted to incorporate that special color in the set. Not only symbolic but when not in use she can hang them as decor in the room if she wants to. I also know how much Lauren loves Hello Kitty. So I couldn’t help but make a leopard print Hello Kitty barrette for baby Mia as well!

Lauren really loved them and told me she can’t wait until Mia is here to share them with her.

Dead Girl Decay: More Vintage Burlesque Styles Available!

It’s been a while since I did some vintage, burlesque upcycled barrettes! I am feeling better and motivated! So I am happy to say I have 3 new custom, one of a kind pieces up in my shop all made from upcycled vintage jewelry pieces! I literally just finished them and they are all ready to ship.

All 3 are very different and can appeal to various styles. The first one features an upcycled piece that is very fae/fairy fantasy like. The middle piece a maltese cross with various shades of autumn like stones. The last features a very unique dragon cameo

Dead Girl Decay: Sugar Skulls and Pumpkins

Just wanted to let my Freaky Fanatics know that I finally got around to posting 2 new Dead Girl Decay barrettes in my Etsy Shop. Both perfect for showing off your creepy cute side and both being inspired by the upcoming holidays (1 for Halloween and the 2nd for Día de Muertos/Day of The Dead). Speaking of the holidays.
