Frankenhearse has arrived!

3

For many many years I have always wanted to own a hearse. My husband has bought muscle cars and hot rods over the years and my dream was always to own a hearse. Well it was not that long ago my husband sold his 1969 Cougar and after doing my usual hearse gawking online I came across a little gem I have been referring to as Frankenhearse for sale. I was drawn to it because of the colors. It reminded me of Bride of Frankenstein meets Frankenstein Monster due to the paint job and the immaculate green interior. It is a 1983 Cadillac S&S Coach. It was originally white but the owners added the green exterior paint to match in the interior. They also added green lights to the interior and exterior lamps.

Well my husband Frank made my creepy little dreams a reality! With my medical bills being ready to be official paid off this month and the deal being too good to pass up for the condition of this hearse…. we jumped on it. We are going to keep with the Frankenhearse theme I envisioned from the start and add it to our obsessive Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein collecting. It is going to be our show car. It will have antique plates and only driven for special occasions. We plan to attend hearse and car shows and even vend my art from the back of it. We have already been in touch with the Hardcore Hearse Club and can’t wait to get involved. I am even helping them build a website for the club! We are in talks of going back to Hell Michigan for their annual hearse show and camp out! So much fun this thing is going to be for us!

My Etsy Shop has been re-opened however please read before ordering.

Boris Karloff and Elsa Lanchester in BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, 1935.

This bride of Frankenstein just had surgery #3 that requires recovery time. My body has been sewn back together and needs some time to heal. My shop has been re-opened to allow customers to purchase any pre-made/ready to ship items and to put down deposits to be the first on my list for custom orders that will resume once I have risen from my grave again.

Orders are encouraged during this time as they will be a great help with medical expenses and bills while I am unable to work. Please do not be spooked and continue to place your orders. Just remember to be patient if there are any delays in shipping. My Frankenstein will be helping me get things shipped out as quickly as possible.

Custom made to order pieces of art will not resume until I am fully recovered so please keep that in mind when contacting me with your requests or placing any orders for items that need customization. This includes art prints as those are printed at the time they are ordered. I welcome you to continue to send your special item requests and I will let you know approximately when I will be able to get them created and filled.

Rose Would Be My Bride!

1

Doing some online research for a few future portraits I want to do and I could not help but bring this up. I have been noticing people have been comparing Mary Louise Parker to Elsa Lanchester in her role as the Bride of Frankenstein.

Mind you I love Mary Louise Parker but I always said that had they decided to do a GOOD remake (meaning putting good money into it like they did The Wolfman back in 2010) of my favorite Universal Monster classic I would love to see them cast Rose McGowan. Maybe it’s the obsession that I have with the Bride of Frankenstein character and my girl crush that I have on Rose that makes me a little bias to this idea but I just think it would be incredible. The Bride of Frankenstein is not just an iconic character but she’s a strong, beautiful, and bold!

Think about it..
